FALLING FOR FALL

One of my favourite times of the year is when the leaves change from their bright sparkling greens to their vibrant reds and oranges just before they fall off and winter hits. I love autumn (fall for those on the other side of the world) but here in Sweden, unlike in other places fall seems to come and go with a blink of an eye. I guess that’s mainly because winter comes so quickly and it’s only because the trees change colour do you notice that fall as come and gone. As those who follow our twitter feed would know, we had our first snowfall last week so its not surprising that shops are filled with more winter decorations than fall decor.

So to cure my loss-of-fall-itis, todays post is all about decor for this deliciously golden season.

We’re big fruit and vegetable fans here and one of the easiest ways to do some seasonal decorating is by using the seasons produce like apples, chestnuts and pumpkins. Depending what we’ve got on hand we use vases, bowls, plates on top of glasses, or anything really to help display the produce, a little like these here.
