If you’re like me you probably can’t get enough of home design magazines, no really I’m fairly obessed with them and would like to surround my home with bookshelfs full of them, actually I probably could do that with the amount we own but I can’t help it, there are just so many talented people with lovely homes and ideas that I can’t help but drool over their gorgeous interiors, open plan kitchens and perfectly planted gardens.
Although I have regulars that I read often, I’m always on the hunt for new magazines, preferably online versions (we’re always for anything that’s good for the environment), that show me designs I’ve never seen before and inspire me to paint, draw, decorate and even bake.
I might be fairly slow in getting around to finally viewing this particular magazine as so many others seem to be hoooked already, but even with my slow start, I’m so glad I stumbled onto Adore Home Magazine.
First let me share my joy of online magazines, I think they are such a brilliant idea and will hopefully help to reduce all the wasted ink and paper in this world. Although to be fair to ourselves, we refer back to all our magazines fairly frequently so ours have definitely not headed to the landfill pile.
Anyway, back to this fabulous magazine. In a feat of great post timing, this months issue is the British issue and with Matthew being a pom, it seems only fitting that we show a page of clever British designs.
One of my favourite features of Adore Home is they’ve taken not only what’s fashionable in the home but they’ve checked out what’s hot in the online world of blogs with their ‘Blog Loving’ section. I think this is an excellent feature given that todays world is very blog focused, any topic you can think of has a blog so having a featured blog section makes great business sense, plus with thousands of design blogs out there it’s easy to miss some great ones, so a section that focuses on a small few, makes it easy to check them out and add them to your rss feed reader.
So if you haven’t already, check out Adore Home Magazine and let us know what you think, and if you’re a regular reader, we’d love to hear what you think too.
Psst: We’re not paid or perked by Adore Home to write this post, I just came across this magazine while surfing for a yellow kitchen and thought I’d share it with you. And in case you’re wondering, I never found the yellow kitchen.
